AppCivist Central Documentation

AppCivist is a platform for democratic assembly and collective action created by the Social Apps Lab at CITRIS of UC Berkeley; in partnership with the MiMove Team of Inria, Paris.

This repository serves as a central hub for documentation and issues related to all the initiatives that are undertake under the umbrella of the project.

Sub-Projects

• AppCivist Backend Server: java-based REST API built with PlayFramework that provides the core user management, assembly and contribution making services of the project.
• AppCivist Frontend Prototype for Participatory Budgeting: AngularJS web application to support collaborative, bottom-up, proposal making campaigns.
• AppCivist Voting API: RAILs REST backend to manage the creation of voting ballots and the submission of votes by users.
