Qemu 1.5.0 win32 "Stops Working" when booting an ISO

Thought I would just ask. 
I've got a problem with Qemu 1.5.0 win32 on Windows 7 32bit crashing when 
trying to boot an ISO.

Error="Qemu-system-i386.exe has stopped working"

Using the following commands;
"qemu-system-i386.exe -cdrom Core-current.iso" or 
"qemu-system-i386.exe -drive file=Core-current.iso,index=2,media=cdrom"

ISO is MicroCore linux 4.6.7. I have tried other ISO's as and all fail.
