@fantasai suggested that it'd be useful to be able to sort the tables on pages like https://speced.github.io/spec-maintenance/ and https://speced.github.io/spec-maintenance/w3c/csswg-drafts/. While sortable tables are nice, and I started a patch for them in main...sort-tables, it takes some extra metadata and styling and doesn't seem to add much utility to the way I expect people to use these tables. So I'm going to pause working on it.
If I'm wrong about how useful this would be, please post your use case in a comment.
