Become a sponsor to Adam
👋 Hey everyone! I'm Adam and I'm probably best known for being the creator behind a few Microsoft System Center Service Manager projects. But the PowerShell oriented SMLets Exchange Connector is probably the most well known.
What is the SMLets Exchange Connector?
Those familiar with Service Manager are probably familiar with the Exchange Connector that takes emails and creates/updates Work Items in SCSM. Given it's a closed source solution and C# in nature, means an SCSM Administrator couldn't just go easily make changes to it to process emails differently in different use cases.
That's why I decided to completely re-write it in the language most System Center administrators understand. PowerShell. It runs in a host of different configuration scenarios, supports a sweeping range of customizations, integrates with Azure Cognitive Services/Machine Learning, supports digital signatures/encryption, and can improve the performance of any SCSM environment.
At its core though is the fundamental means to connect to an Exchange Inbox (on premise or in the cloud) to process email and take further action.
Why should I sponsor you?
- Substance. When you sponsor me you're not just telling me that my work matters, you're also telling the world and that's pretty cool.
- Maintenance. You can make sure the projects that move you forward keep moving you forward!
- No commitments. You cancel anytime and we can still be friends - promise.
I'm looking to bring even more automation to the SMLets Exchange Connector and its corresponding GitHub repository. I'll be able to cover GitHub and Azure costs as it pertains to bringing increasing amounts of QA to the project. Your contributions will help expedite releases and their associated testing time!
