Intro

Against my better judgment I'm going to open myself to sponsorship.

Everything that is generated from sponsors will be used to "further the cause". The exception being that if enough is generated that I can quit my job and work full time on this (Because simply having more time would be the most impactful change I could make), in which case I'll obviously have to use it for daily expenses.

The end goal is for everything produced to be public, free, open source, and easy to use. Nothing is guaranteed, however “rewards” in each, incoming, tier will be honored to the best of my ability.

There is no hidden meaning/alternative interpretation to what is said here, take what is written at face value. You are not paying for a promise of new exploits. In the end this is simply a donation.

"Goals"

Please realize these aren't the amounts I actually receive, but are pre-fee/pre-tax amounts and less than I make at my current full time job. Swapping jobs I also have to take into account needing to pay for my own employment benefits, like health insurance.

• $80/month: The DNS will remain running at near zero out of pocket cost
• $3,500/month: I'll quit my full time job, find a part time job, and work this stuff as if it was a part time job versus just a hobby.
• $7,000/month: I'll quit my full time job and work this stuff as if it was a full time job versus just a hobby.

Can I just buy you out and keep stuff private/sell stuff myself?

No, again I'd like to keep all my stuff free and open source to the best of my abilities. Unless you have some insane offer, I have principles but I'm not a complete moron.
