Who am I?

My name is Evan and I'm from a small town in Minnesota 🇺🇸, but I go by RandomHashTags on the internet. I like making things that can help us understand problems, and ways to fix them. When I am not trying to find answers to the big questions you can find me developing fun projects like servers, frameworks, video games, or researching topics in programming, tech, and science. I also edit Wikipedia sometimes.

What are my skills?

High School grad. First began coding in 2015, in Java. I like to find my own way and approach to every day problems and situations. I enjoy problem solving and programming is in my nature.

  • Paradigm: a service bringing world events, stats, and facts from around the world in a modern and user-friendly way (website, Apple App Store)
  • Science: an all-in-one scientific simulator
  • Gluon: a Minecraft Server alternative to any written in Java (written in Swift), because of performance issues, privacy concerns, and better server-owner freedom

swift-sovereign-states Access regional subdivisions natively

Where does your money go?

Any 💸 you send goes directly to me, and is used for the bare-bone essentials it takes to develop my projects. What does that mean? Here are a few examples:

  • 🧠 energy & normal expenses (food, water, electricity)
  • new hardware for development/testing/supporting
  • supporting my work for the open-source community

Current ambitions

  • Free, open-source, cross-platform, all-in-one scientific simulator
  • SwiftUI for Linux
  • cross-platform simdjson Swift port
  • Swift machine learning

I currently do this full-time and will begin job hunting just before I turn 26 (Q1 2026). I will open-source my Paradigm (and possibly LitLeagues) project and contribute more to open-source projects that I believe in if this goal is reached, or when I turn 26, which every comes first.
