Hi, I'm Anna!
I'm a marine scientist (PhD) passionate about investigating the efficiency of the ocean’s biological carbon pump, a vital ecosystem process that contributes to atmospheric CO2 sequestration in the ocean. My research focuses on developing code to better understand this process, using tools like MATLAB, Fortran, Bash and Jupyter Notebooks.
I’m particularly driven to enhance scientific workflows by developing scripts that automate repetitive data analysis tasks or facilitate the exploration of oceanographic data —tasks that often go unpublished. By sharing and automating these processes, I aim to make marine science more efficient, reproducible and accessible.
Supporting me on GitHub helps prioritise projects that matter most to you as a sponsor. Whether you want to explore further development or contribute to existing projects, your support drives my efforts to create code that is well-commented, streamlined and modular.
