The dust app (https://dust.events) allows Burning Man regionals to guide burners to theme camps, art and events.

Dust is a platform for regional Burning Man events to help manage a community of burners who want to create theme camps and art. The dust app is available for free for regionals, and available for Burning Man too. My time is spent working to coordinate each regional event which involves content creation, data validation, importing, training and documentation. It also involve regular software development too: bug fixes and feature implementation.

Dust also has costs associated with cloud services for compute, storage and traffic, domain registrations and store costs.

Sponsoring will help offset these costs. Its not required at all because the time and money I put into dust is a gift to the community.
