I have been obsessed with productivity for the longest time, and I am constantly refining my tools to make my research process easier. My early ventures into open source involved writing plugins for Fish: ports for z and fzf. Many things led me to discover the wonders of Emacs and Org-mode, and I have been using them for a quarter of my life now.
While extremely powerful, I felt that Org-mode was lacking certain facilities to encourage good note-taking. I wrote a small bunch of functions in my configuration file, and was encouraged to package it into something that people could use. Little did I know it would gain so much popularity, and org-roam quickly became a project I had to spend a significant amount of time maintaining: attending to feature requests and bugs on the tracker, as well as answering queries that come through mail, twitter, Discourse, or Slack.
If my work has helped you in any way, I'd appreciate any form of monetary support!
