Hi, I'm Matthew!

I've been working in open source for over 10 years both professionally and as a hobby.

The projects I watch and work on the most in my free time are the Learning Management System Sakai and projects in Tsugi. My current favorite language is Python but I also still enjoy programming in Java. When working on projects my primary focus is typically on accessibility, inter-operability standards, data visualizations and improving the user experience.

By sponsoring me I'll be further encouraged to continue this work on these and other projects. I intend to pass on some of this to other developers. I am employed full time so this is mostly on the side as time allows but is something I enjoy and hope to continue.
