Sponsorship is important to help me cover existing and future infrastructure costs to make sure that my projects encompass cloud database offering compatibility, as well as allow me to dedicate more of my time to working on projects instead of consulting work.
Currently I am paying for a (slow) Azure SQL instance out of pocket to test against. Adding an RDS instance to the CI pipeline and being able to upgrade Azure SQL above the Basic Service tier would allow for a more robust set of tools and faster development time.
