I am a computer scientist from Germany, busy writing code since the age of eight. Computers speak to me and I listen. Scientist at heart.

In my other, parallel life, I am a hobby musician, experimenting with and creating (Eurorack) modular synthesizers.

So far I have gathered professional experience in:

• Computer Science (esp. Machine Learning, Databases, Information Retrieval, Human-Machine Interaction)
• Software Development (Coding and Project Management)
• Hardware Development (Leadership along the stack from chip design to device production)
• Leadership in industrial development
• Academic research (in the area of computer science)

Currently I am working on a seamless integration between computers and my everyday life. This includes:

• Self-management
• Personal Information Management (PIM)
• Automation of repetitive tasks
• IoT
• Support for software development and other types of work.

I'm a co-founder of a Hackerspace und like to explore devices and build out my own ideas. Currently with a focus on electronic music.

Sponsorship will help me to engage in projects that are important, but do not deliver immediate economic value (like so many Open Source software projects). Ultimately I want to improve the way we organize ourselves and our life with others using IT (computers, smartphones and whatever devices are yet to come).
