Parts do not always match templates

We should consider ways to correct this.

A good example is where a RUB has a physical_condition attribute, yet we do not track this.

I'm not sure what you mean by "yet we do not track this".

There is an issue that the templates don't have the physical_condition attribute, but I think that's an issue with the templates not the tooling.

My understanding is that it's valid for items not to match their templates. That is, after all, how templates normally work.

@trickeydan could you expand on why assets not matching their templates causes issues?
