No libpng12-0 on Mint 20.2 #6

I would like to use my wife's (windows) GL-570 on my Mint 20.2 System (based

on Ubuntu 20.04)

I am having problems with 'libpng12-0'


" sudo apt-get install -y libpng12-0
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree       
Reading state information... Done
Package libpng12-0 is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

E: Package 'libpng12-0' has no installation candidate"

Has anyone any suggestions (sorry I do not have much technical background on the subject)

You could try to install the newer version. Use apt-cache search libpng to find the name. Otherwise you can try to follow this guide
