Hi, really nice project there, I like it already :) Is it possible to manage the content of a yaml/json file when the top-level item is not an object but a list? For example, a yaml with the following content:
If this is supported, I was not able to find how such a collection is supposed to be described. It seems the top-level element must be an object or I am missing a collection configuration subtlety. What works is to nest the items to make the top-level element an object and describe it in the collection:

Thanks for checking out Sveltia CMS! Top-level lists are not supported yet, but I know it’s one of the long-standing and most-voted issues in Netlify/Decap CMS: Actually @reteps asked me about this on Discord a few days ago and suggested a workaround using a custom formatter. So I’ve added support for custom formatters to Sveltia CMS. I plan to support top-level lists natively in Sveltia CMS, but in the meantime you can try his workaround. |
