Overview
The proposal to integrate IDriss into Taho wallet, presented during community calls on March 10 and April 1, 2022 by the contributors (Geoist, Levertz) was well-received by the community and already had a corresponding PR on Github. However, the proposed integration involved deeper architectural and design considerations that were not yet fully worked out, leading to the decision to close the PR with plans to revisit the integration in the future, potentially in Q4 2023.
Our team has prepared a new PR that addresses the previous concerns. This build ensures that one identifier resolves to only one wallet address without requiring any design and architectural changes, making it as straightforward as the existing implementations of ENS and UD.
Maintainability
The IDriss team will monitor the development of Taho wallet and create PR requests when other default networks are added to widen the support or the resolver. The Taho team does not need to maintain the IDriss integration in the future.
