Is the DSC PC1565 a PowerSeries or Classic Series? #337
-
Hi, In the dscKeybusInterface documentation, this system is mentioned under PowerSeries (even as one of the tested boards), but according to the manufacturer, it's a Classic series (not so easy to find, but in the manuals it has a "Classic" label below: https://cms.dsc.com/download.php?t=1&id=13616). I would like to know if I need PC16-OUT (in the case of Classic series) or not. Thanks a lot! |

I can answer myself after having tested. I can confirm it does work perfectly with DSC PC1565 without PC16-OUT. I first tested in a breadboard (even though it's not recommended, before soldering components I wanted to confirm it) and it was working fine, so I have already soldered everything. This lib is amazing. Thanks for the great work! I couldn't believe there was a solution in which it's not necessary to upgrade the system (and actually much better imo than just using the IT-100 interface) |
