Hello,
Its a nice concept and have seen your previous talks in the community. We would like to try out light weight distribution for uCPE use cases were its economically best to go with self supported clusters on small x86 CPE boxes. We find Das-schiff appealing.
Would be great if further documentation can be added about the supported CNI and how well its used in this project. We can help here if its there but not documented.
I have looked at the Calico related changes and the architecture about using Sonic. We dont have preference for management CNI however for Dataplane it expects SR_IOV and cant be host-network namespace sharing.
EKS-D would give some insights but our CNFs expects SR_IOV but i couldnt find sriov device plugin in EKS-D as it expects hos-device mapping which is not that interesting to us.We would like to use sr-iov cni along with Multus. Is this something you have considered or in use but not documented?.
