Figure out how to add custom color-sets that don't get overwritten when updating the theme

when I update the theme from HACS my custom theme colors get blown away. it'd be neat if I had a way to keep them when updating :)
some kind of include?

I fear an include would also get clobbered by updates... I'll have to think on this. In the meantime, you could always submit your theme to be included!
