v1.1.0 - Bug Fixes!
This release fixes several issues that were found since the previous release
Fixes
- If players were forced to use a specific weapon, some players wouldn't be given the weapon and would be stuck unable to use any weapon at all for the duration. All players should now actually get the weapon (Issue #5)
- If a player was dead when the "Flood" effect ended, they would be placed into a "zombie" state with no health and would need to jump off the map or into an instant death zone of some sort to die for real. This should no longer happen (Issue #6)
- If a (living) player had their position swapped with a dead player, they could get stuck in the floor in some cases. Players could also possibly get swapped with stationary turrets. Neither of these should happen anymore (Issue #7)
- When a summoned bot was killed, they would leave the game, but immediately be replaced by a regular bot. They should now fully leave the game without keeping any further bots (Issue #9)
To Install
Place the two files (the .int and .u) into the System folder in your Unreal Tournament installation. The mutator should now be available to select.
Usage
Once installed, start your game (Practice mode, Local Hosting, or on a Dedicated Server). Once started, log in as an admin (Go to console and use "adminlogin "). Once logged in, you can configure the IP where the Crowd Control client (or OfflineCrowdControl script) is running. If you do not do this, it will default to trying to connect to a client on the same machine.
To change this, go to the console and type
mutate cc setip
Once the IP has been set, the mutator will likely automatically connect on its own. If not, you can initiate a reconnect by going to the console and using
mutate cc reconnect
If you are running the mutator on a different machine than the Crowd Control client, you may need to ensure that you have port 43384 open for TCP traffic in order for things to work.
Crowd Control
Official support for UT99 is now included in Crowd Control! Make sure to select "Unreal Tournament 99 (PC)" in the client and start your session!
More information about using this mutator can be found in the README file
