Midi controller volume input for jamming

Currently, instruments are played at maximum volume when playing from a midi controller even when specifying to use MIDI Velocity input (which is only used when adding notes in the pattern editor). It would be useful to have the option to allow for MIDI Velocity to carry to instrument volume.

This severely limits jamming usefulness as all the notes are played at the same volume.

I understand that jamming is not the main aim of this software, but could I please be pointed to the relevant file(s) in the source to modify that behavior myself and allow for MIDI velocity input to carry to instrument playback.
