Clean all patterns

I would like to know if it is possible to have a feature were I can LOAD a song and clean all patterns so that I can start a new song using the same instruments as the song that I loaded has.
This is VERY useful when working with a game ost and you want to have the same instruments on all songs for consistency.
I know I can save all instruments in a folder and load them again, but that is a little tedious when loading songs with too many instruments, samples and more.

I remember I used this feature in another tracker, not sure which one because it was a veeeeery long time ago, I think it was scream tracker? Fast tracker or maybe impulse tracker? I don't remember to be honest.
