Help downloading furnace #2100

Hi, im on mac. When I try downloading furnace and click on the file, a message shows: "“Furnace” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software." and proceeds to say "contact the owner." How do i download it correctly? |

Right-click (or Command-click) it and select Open. Then you'll see the "Open" option. |

Hi, sorry for the confusion. I have the exe file for furnace but when I try to download the actual program it says "Furnace can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software." After this window pops up, below it continues to state "This software needs to be updated, Contact the developer for more information." I just have the options "Cancel" and "Ok" after this. Is there something I need to do or change in my settings in order for me to actually open the furnace program? |

Right click the Furnace icon in Finder. A menu should appear, with many options. This error is caused by the fact that Furnace isn't signed with an Apple developer certificate. macOS will refuse to launch unsigned applications unless you perform the aforementioned workaround. |
