While this likely isn't preferable, you could also create an instrument that uses an LFO Pitch macro, since that does support a square-shaped vibrato. Although, It definitely wouldn't be as convenient as a using 04xy and an improved E3xx |

I've noticed that in some MSX, NES, Gameboy and SNES games (and likely others too), there are songs that have vibrato which just sounds like the pitch snaps up slightly, then goes back down to the initial pitch set.
What I'm thinking is, rather than having to use constant E5xx spam to achieve this, you could perhaps add vibrato shapes to do this too. Like perhaps a Square up for use in vibrato purposes and a square up down which, rather than going back down to the original note, it goes to the same negative value, which could be useful for sound effects maybe?
