Hi everyone,
For a 2D vdWs material, there is a reduction in the frequency or softening of all the phonon modes upon inclusion of quartic anharmonicity as compared to HA phonons. This is in contradiction to all other calculations performed using Alamode. Can anyone think of a physical phenomenon leading to such an effect ?
Thank you in advance!
Best regards,
Eesha
