How to do a meeting

Our monthly meetings are the cornerstone of Tulsa Web Devs activities.

Schedule

Our meetings are on the 3rd Monday of every month at the i2E Tulsa office. For each one we need to:

Online artifacts

  1. Create a post on our website
    • Make sure you check the "Meetings" and "Events" Categories
  2. Create an event in our Facebook group and link it to the website post.
  3. Create an event in our Google+ group and link it to the website post.
  4. Update the RSVP links in the "Home - Call to Action" widget text on the website to match the new Facebook and Google+ event pages
  5. Tweet about the event an mention @tulsawebdevs for a retweet

Meeting day logistics

  1. Order food by 5pm
  2. Pick up drinks
    • A few 12-packs of soda
    • A few 6-packs of beer

Meeting agenda

We are pretty loose on agenda, but we should try to stick to this rough format:

  1. 6pm - 6:30pm: Eat, mingle, announcements
  2. 6:30pm: Break out into sessions/sub-groups
    • Do introductions in each break-out group
  3. 7:30pm: Vote on next month's topics
  4. 7:45pm: Leave to another venue
    • Typically Chimera or McNellie's
    • Someone should start the Online artifacts before leaving
