Firefox Stract addon - 1.0.3
This is the first release that will also be available via AMO.
How to install
AMO-Installation
- visit https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/stract-addon-for-firefox/
- Select "Add to Firefox"
- Select "Add" in the dialog that asks "Add Stract addon for Firefox?".
- You can now decide if you want to allow it in private tabs. Or just click on "Okay" without selecting the check-box.
- You are now ready to use it.
Manual installation. Automatic updates are not supported.
- Download either

orstract_addon_for_firefox-1.0.3.zip
attached here - Navigate using your file manager to the location of the add-on.
- Drag the add-on over Firefox and release it.
- Select "Add" in the dialog that asks "Add Stract addon for Firefox?".
- You can now decide if you want to allow it in private tabs. Or just click on "Okay" without selecting the check-box.
- You are now ready to use it.
Firefox Stract addon - 1.0.1
This is a "bug-fix" release for 1.0-pre but it is a normal release (not a preview release).
The purpose of it is to comply with Mozilla's add-on requirements.

As the files in this version are signed, it is now the first normal release. This also means that installing the add-on is now simpler.
- Navigate using your file manager to the location of the add-on.
- Drag the add-on over Firefox and release it.
- Select "Add" in the dialog that asks "Add Stract for Firefox?".
- You can now decide if you want to allow it in private tabs. Or just click on "Okay" without selecting the check-box.
- You are now ready to use it.

This is the inital release for Firefox Stract addon.

Missing Features
This are features that one might expect but that are not implemented
- no support for optics
- no support for changing of settings
How to install
Currently this addon has to be installed manually. Also it is disabled again when Firefox is closed.
- type
about:debugging
into the Firefox address bar - select the "This Firefox" menu on the left side (this guide will be in english, use the matching menu items for your language settings)
- select "Load Temporary Add-on..."
- navigate using your file manager to the location of the addon
- now it depends on the file type.
5.1. for the.xpi
file you can simply select the file
5.2 for the.zip
file you can either directly select the file or first extract the zip-file and then select the filemanifest.json
To uninstall simply fully close the browser. Alternativly you can go where the add-on was installed and select "Remove" below the add-on.
