In Open Source UBB we are proud of being an inclusive and diverse community that aims to gather students who are passionate about software development. In the interest of maintaining a safe and respectful collaborative environment, we have established a code of conduct which every member of this community must abide to at all times.
By joining our community or participating in any of the events or activities we organise in any capacity, you accept to comply with this code of conduct, and contribute to creating a safe environment where everyone is able to participate, learn and collaborate in an effective manner.
We encourage you to read this document thoroughly, and to keep its contents in mind during all your interactions within Open Source UBB.
We pledge to maintain an inclusive and respectful environment for all of our collaborators, no matter their gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnic, religion, physical impairments, or any other personal characteristic of their own as we, members of this community, will always work and advocate for creating a safe and welcoming space for everyone.

- Replying and taking action in case of any report of unacceptable behaviour from any of our members. We will analyse each case and take the corresponding measures accordingly.

- Violent extremism.
If you as a member of our community ever feel like any other member is incurring in any of the points listed under the behaviour we deem unacceptable you may:
- Email our staff team at contact@ubiobio.dev.
- Contact the community leader BGM directly.
Things you may report to us are not limited to the ones listed above, so if you feel like you need to contact our community leaders for any reason, whether it be privacy concerns, feeling unsafe, amongst others, do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to help.
We will keep your identity private at all times.
If our community leaders confirm a member of Open Source UBB is or has engaged in any unacceptable behaviour we will take action and either forbid them from using our platforms or demote them from their charge, respectively.
