Usage

Place Axle Wall Bearing much like normal Axle Bearing is placed on top of a solid block or between two solid blocks. Axle Wall Bearing will occupy the whole block.

The purple edges of the placement preview ghost block indicate the side or side of the Axle Wall Bearing that will attach to the neighboring blocks.

Axles, gears and other mechanisms can be attached normally.

Covers

Axle Wall Bearing can be covered with another solid block, making its axle appear to pass through the wall almost seamlessly.

Currently Axle Wall Bearings can be covered with the following blocks:

  • Planks
  • Smooth Stone
  • Stone Bricks
  • Stone Large Bricks
  • Rough Stone Bricks
  • Rough Stone Tiles

To cover an Axle Wall Bearing simply right click it while holding the block. The cover block is consumed and will be dropped if the block is destroyed.

The current cover block can be removed by right clicking an Axle Wall Bearing with an empty hand while sleeping. If the Axle Wall Bearing has a gear attached to the site that is clicked, the gear is first removed. Repeat the action to remove the cover, or right click a side of the Axle Wall Bearing block which does not have a gear attached.

Notes

  • Although the Axle Wall Bearing occupies the whole block, it still needs to be attached to a solid block below or on the sides. Removing those blocks will destroy the block, just like normal Axle Bearing. This may change in the future.
