Drying Rack
Drying rack is a construct that can be used for drying various items.
Combine two poles and two pieces of string, sinew, or Bark Cordage to create a Drying Rack.
Drying Rack needs to be placed between two solid block, which are no more than 3 blocks apart. You will need one Drying Rack item for every block of air between those two block.
Place a Drying Rack against the side of a block, holding a large enough stack in your hand, the Drying Rack will extend automatically to close the gap all the way to the opposite block.
If one segment of the Drying Rack is broken, or either of the two blocks holding it, the whole Drying Rack will collapse.
Drying Rack can be used for curing Bark Fiber Strips and drying meat, cheese and seaweed.
Right click a section of the Drying Rack while holding an item that can be dried in your hand to place it. Up to 4 items can be placed on one section of the Drying Rack.
Depending on the item being placed, a piece of tying equipment might be needed. Any string or Bark Cordage is allowed and will be automatically consumed from your inventory. Sinew cannot be used as tying equipment. The tying equipment is used up when the drying process is complete, and it turns visibly darker which can be used as indicator that an item has dried.
Right click a section of the Drying Rack with an empty hand to retrieve an item being dried.
