What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.
i installed the comercial version of the NTFS-3G from Tuxera.
but unlikely the Freeware Version of NTFS-3G it refused to read some
directories or rejected Mounted Devices through Truecrypt. It also doesn't
recognize apple specific File attributes written by the Freeware Version.
especially when mounting a Truecrypt drive, I gained the following error
Prompt:
"Libary/Filesystem/fuse.fs/Support/fuse.kext failed to load - (libkern kext)
link error; check the system/kernel logs for errors or try kextutil(8)" the
macfuse system is not available (71)
I didn't had these troubles with my other Macs who have the Freeware NTFS-3G
installed. So I tried to downgrade the tuxera NTFX-3G to the freeware NTFS-3G
But when i then tried to plug any NTFS formatted USB drive they got rejected
and i got the same Message:
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
"Libary/Filesystem/fuse.fs/Support/fuse.kext failed to load - (libkern kext)
link error; check the system/kernel logs for errors or try kextutil(8)" the
macfuse system is not available (71)
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
MacFUSE 2.0.3,2
TuxeraNTFS_2010_112-RC
MacOS 10.6.7
MacBookPro i7 17" 2011
