run-in-console of first non-SoS cell

How to reproduce:

Open a notebook, select R in the first cell, enter a <- 1, press C-S-Enter.

Problem:

The cell kernel seems to be in SoS so run-in-console failed.

Note:

After executing a <- 1 in the notebook, subsequent run-in-console seems to be working well, even for another kernel.
