Insights Datasets

First I looked at the different datasets that were given by De Volkskrant. These are multiple datasets from the RDW. After looking at this globally, I found out that it's mainly about parking data. The datasets provide information about parking areas, parking locations, specifications of parking areas, periods, cars etc.

Next, I started looking at the sample visualizations that you can create using a dataset. From this I have done some insights that struck me and which might be interesting for the final visualization:

• Of the 1557 parking areas in specificaties parkeergebieden, 1242 parking areas do not include a charging station for charging electric cars.
• Of the 1557 parking areas in specificaties parkeergebieden, only 83 parking areas are accessible for people in a wheelchair.
