<p>Amaravati: On Saturday, Tollywood star Allu Arjun was accused by the police in Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh, for going to the home of his buddy and YSRCP MLA Silpa Ravi, which resulted in a large crowd assembling on the street.
As the state and the 25 Lok Sabha constituencies in Andhra Pradesh go to the polls on May 13, Silpa Ravi is running for re-election from Nandyal.</p>
<p>
A lawsuit was filed against the YSRCP candidate and the actor known for "Pushpa" on Saturday night as they went to the MLA's residence without first obtaining permission from the Returning Officer of the seat.

<p>On the final day of campaigning, Allu Arjun paid the MLA a visit to express his support. Many of his admirers congregated outside the mansion as soon as they heard about his arrival in hopes of seeing their idol.

The actor waved to the large throng that was screaming "Pushpa, Pushpa" when he arrived on the balcony alongside his wife Sneha Reddy, Silpa Ravi, and the MLA's family.</p>
<p>
In the May 13 elections, Silpa Ravi—real name: Singareddy Ravichandra Kishore Reddy—is running for re-election as the nominee of the governing party.

<p>The nearby Two Town police station has opened a case under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code, which deals with disobedience to an order properly proclaimed by a public officer.
The charge was filed against the actor and the MLA since Section 31 of the AP Police Act and Section 144 of the Election Code were applicable.

<p>Allu Arjun, meanwhile, expressed gratitude to the Nandyal community on social media for their kind welcome.
He also expressed gratitude to Silpa Ravi for her hospitality.</p>

"Best wishes for the elections and everything ahead. He wrote on X, "You have my undying love and support."
In addition, Silpa Ravi uploaded a video of Allu Arjun waving to the audience on X, expressing gratitude to the actor for making the long trip to Nandyal to wish him luck in the polls.
