You need to create a plugin that would allow us to convert the task into a sub-project. Plugin working principles should be as follows:

In the system settings select the project that contains the required task
Select the status at which the task is converted to a sub-project
Select the fields which need to be moved from the task to the sub-project
Select the project in which the sub-project is to be created.
