Fuxmo trick is what all Arduino/Alexa people talk about. And, Yes... it's a great way to connect/control your own switch/plug by your phone too.
However, any descent approach of any descent engineer and/or hobbyist must involve a wide variety of device types, like dozens of sensors, valves, locks, meters etc.
Another problem is that Alexa sees my "Fauxmo" gadgets as Belkin (or such) switches, which looks embarrassingly fraudulent even for my family members.
Is there a way that I connect to any of these gateways (like Alexa) with my own authentic device?
