Known issues with netscaler ansible modules

netscaler cs action

  • "targetvserver". Requires sslvpn feature which is unavailable in CPX
  • "targetvserverexpr" does not work under CPX 11.1

Read write options missing from module arguments

  • "targetvsever". Option is not supported in cpx and could not be tested
  • "newname". Renaming function is not supported

netscaler cs policy

  • "logaction". Could not configure a valid log action to test this argument
  • "newname". Renaming function is not supported

netscaler cs vserver

  • "sitedomainttl". Value is not correctly set. It remains 0 regardless at what value it is set.
  • "cookietimeout". Value is not correctly set. It remains 0 regardless at what value it is set.
  • "cookiedomain". Missing from nitro response object.
  • "backupip". Missing from nitro response object.
  • "ttl". Value is not correctly set. It remains 0.0 regardless at what value it is set.
  • "domainname". Missing from nitro response object
  • "targettype". Attribute is missing from nitro response object.
  • "persistenceid". Attribute is missing from nitro response object.
  • "state". Attribute is missing from nitro response object.
  • "backupvserver". Could not instantiate a valid backup vserver in CPX testbed. Got "nitro exception errorcode=258,message=No such resource [backupVServer, backup-server]"
  • "listenpriority". Could not give a valid value. Got "nitro exception errorcode=1354,message=Error in binding listen priority to normal vserver"
  • "newname". Renaming function is not supported

netscaler lb monitor

  • "metric". Could not setup snmp parameters for test.
  • "metrictable". Could not setup snmp parameters for test.
  • "metricthreshold". Could not setup snmp parameters for test.
  • "metricweight". Could not setup snmp parameters for test.
  • "hostname". Cannot set value properly.
  • "kcdaccount". Could not setup kcd account to test parameter.
  • "sslprofile". Not supported by nitro config object.
  • "servicename". Set through binding object.
  • "servicegroupname". Set through binding object.

  • "nodomaincheck". Not in the nitro response object.
  • "bundle". Not in the nitro response object.
  • "linkcertkeyname". Not in the nitro response object.
  • "hsmkey". Did not have hardware module to test.
  • "fipskey". Did not have hardware module to test.

netscaler gslb site

  • "parentsite". Throwing exception
  • "clip". Could not setup cluster to test
  • "publicclip". Could not setup cluster to test

netscaler gslb service

  • "cookietimeout" not returned in nitro object
  • "srvtimeout" is mispelled as svrtimeout nitro object does not have this attribute as a result
  • "naptr..." all naptr options are unavailable on netscaler 10.5
  • "view..." views are unavailable on NS10.5
  • "monitor_name_svc" the underscores cause the python sdk call to fail
  • "weight" can be used only with monitor_name_svc

netscaler gslb vserver

  • "backupsessiontimeout" missing from other
  • "iptype" missing from other
  • "ecs" not supported by nitro api
  • "ecsaddrvalidation" not supported by nitro api
  • "edr" not supported by nitro api
  • "state" missing from nitro api
  • "backupvserver" not present in nitro return object
  • "backupipflag" in gslbvserver_domain_binding is None in the nitro object.

domain bindings

  • "cookie_domainflag", "cookie_domain" nitro api gets confused by the underscore.

glsb service bindings

netscaler server

  • "delay". Missing from nitro object
  • "graceful". Missing from nitro object
  • "domainresolvenow". Missing from nitro object

netscaler appfw profile

  • "sqlinjectiononlycheckfieldswithsqlchars" missing from other
  • "xmlsqlinjectiononlycheckfieldswithsqlchars" missing from other
  • "stripcomments" missing from other

netscaler appfw fieldtype

  • "nocharmaps" attribute does not work correctly

citrix adm

  • All citrix adm modules do not work with version 12.0. Only 12.1.
  • citrix_adm_rba_policy does not support update operation
  • citrix_adm_application not included in integration test suite
