HR Analytics Dashboard - Employee Attrition

Welcome to the HR Analytics Dashboard repository! This project aims to provide insightful visualizations and analysis of employee attrition within the organization based on various key performance indicators (KPIs). The dashboard is built using Tableau and the data used for analysis is available in an Excel file.

Tableau Dashboard

The Tableau dashboard presents a comprehensive view of employee attrition patterns across different dimensions, allowing stakeholders to make data-driven decisions and identify areas of improvement in the organization.

Key Features:

  • Interactive visualizations: The dashboard provides an interactive experience, allowing users to filter and drill down into specific aspects of employee attrition.
  • Department-wise analysis: Understand attrition rates and trends within different departments.
  • Age group analysis: Explore attrition patterns based on age groups to recognize potential generational impacts on employee turnover.
  • Education field breakdown: Identify how attrition varies across different educational backgrounds.
  • Gender-based analysis: Examine the gender-based attrition rates and gain insights into gender diversity within the organization.
  • Other KPIs: The dashboard includes additional KPIs, such as Employee Count, Attrition count, Attrition rate and Average age of empployees etc that contribute to attrition trends.

Data

The data for this analysis is available in the accompanying Excel file HR Data.xlsx. It contains anonymized information about employees, including their department, age, education field, gender, job role, job satisfaction rating and attrition status.

Data Columns:

  1. Employee ID: Unique identifier for each employee.
  2. Department: The department to which the employee belongs.
  3. Age: The age of the employee.
  4. Education Field: The field of education or specialization of the employee.
  5. Gender: The gender of the employee (Male/Female).
  6. Job Satisfaction Rating: The Job Satisfaction rating of the employee.
  7. Attrition: A binary indicator representing whether the employee has left the organization (Yes/No).
