create_vpc

create_vpc(opts)

Create a VPC

Create a new VPC in a region. VPCs should use RFC1918 private address space: 10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255 (10/8 prefix) 172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255 (172.16/12 prefix) 192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255 (192.168/16 prefix)

Examples

require 'time'
require 'vultr_ruby'
# setup authorization
VultrRuby.configure do |config|
  # Configure Bearer authorization: API Key
  config.access_token = 'YOUR_BEARER_TOKEN'
end

api_instance = VultrRuby::VPCsApi.new
opts = {
  create_vpc_request: VultrRuby::CreateVpcRequest.new({region: 'region_example'}) # CreateVpcRequest | Include a JSON object in the request body with a content type of **application/json**.
}

begin
  # Create a VPC
  result = api_instance.create_vpc(opts)
  p result
rescue VultrRuby::ApiError => e
  puts "Error when calling VPCsApi->create_vpc: #{e}"
end

Using the create_vpc_with_http_info variant

This returns an Array which contains the response data, status code and headers.

<Array(, Integer, Hash)> create_vpc_with_http_info(opts)

begin
  # Create a VPC
  data, status_code, headers = api_instance.create_vpc_with_http_info(opts)
  p status_code # => 2xx
  p headers # => { ... }
  p data # => <GetVpc200Response>
rescue VultrRuby::ApiError => e
  puts "Error when calling VPCsApi->create_vpc_with_http_info: #{e}"
end

Parameters
