Under Keyboard Interaction - Setting Focus and Navigating Inside Cells Editing and Navigating Inside a Cell F2 is compared with Enter implying similar universal support. This is very misleading.

It is good that Grid (Interactive Tabular Data and Layout Containers) Pattern includes information about obscure keystrokes (with F6 being another) but there should be more caveats and/or disclaimers when it comes to function keys.
