@jc1999 I tried it with the DrChat build 1.0.485-master. The intro screen looks fine, everything is normal and you can see the animation with the five stars and the 2 R* logos. The sound is also fine. Xenia still crashes while loading but it gets further than a few months ago. When I tried it in early september Xenia crashed after displaying the first part with a lot of text in the intro. Now it gets to the 2nd text sequence with the three circles below turning around and saying don't turn off your console. The circles turn around for like five seconds and then the animation freezes and Xenia crashes.

I have tried with the latest build in a windows 10 64 bit env, and the game opens as far as the glass breaking sound and then xenia crashes.. interestingly tho, when I run Xenia through dependency walker and run profiling the game loads as far as the chick with the mobile phone or sometimes it's the cop arresting the women but then nothing happens.. why?

With xenia-project/xenia@61fd5a6, following the instructions of this video, goes ingame with issues like:

• Almost no lighting in interiors
• Weird repeated image in upper half of the screen (only with ROV)
• Discolored textures because of lighting
• No sound ingame (Only videos have sound)

Running with Xenia on xenia-project/xenia@57e8f05 the game is very much a gameplay state as following this video to help install the game, the game will run but crash, however using xextool you can patch the game to run the latest title update. That allows the game to be in a very much playable state as it no longer crashes at the heist, however due to issues with saving the game is still left in a gameplay state. Also audio works at very few points during gameplay. There are also many controller input issues as well

I didn't encounter this issue personally, I even left the game running for a while as I was doing some chores around the house and the game still worked as it should.

Playing around with the config file I noticed the game doesn't require "break_on_debugbreak" to be set to false anymore. Also I found a quick fix for the sun glare going through objects without any patches or anything. In the config file, you'd want to change "query_occlusion_fake_sample_count" from 1000 to -1 (or 0 in case other games hang/crash).

EDIT: I'm using ROV now so i won't get Graphics Device Lost 1 minute after loading the game but I still get the Unhandled exception error after playing for 10-20 min. Same thing on Vulkan
EDIT 2: The cause of UE for the most part are water and dirt particles from what i saw on Youtube but the weirdest is that this error didn't happen on old builds of Canary

Hi, so I am trying to run this game within Batocera using the Zenia Emulator but can’t get past this screen as mentioned in the previous comment. (Three loading circles then Xenia Crashes) I did try my best to read through the threads but is all too confusing for me to understand. I noticed something about downgrading a tu, I don’t know what that means. Anyway could someone please explain to me what the best way to get this game to run stable on my batocera build is. Hi, I’m using an Intel core i5-8500 with a Nvidia GT 730. Batocera is a Linux distro designed with game emulation in mind. It’s and AIO System that has the emulators built in for almost any gaming console imaginable and you can store the rom file on your boot drive in order to run the games within each dedicated consoles emulator. Thanks for the Help. Also having issues loading into COD Black Ops III, but that is a separate issue..

I dont know, but when driving into a certain node or spot on the road, it causes a crash. I been trying to find a solution to a softlock on the mission where it crashes with the same error code as that. The mission is when you have to kill the O'Neal brothers in the woods. What happens is that you switch to Franklin and you chase them, all is fine. That is, until you have to turn left and take a dirt path that leads to the forest on the path. There are plenty of "crash nodes"(that's what I'll call them) that seem nearly impossible to pass.
