To build and run all the servers
1. set the environment variables
OSCARS_DIST - directory where sources are kept
OSCARS_HOME - directory where the oscars runtime configurations will be
2. Check for template files in the following config directories
authN/config/authN.yaml.template
authZ/config/authZ.yaml.template
coordinator/config/pce-configuration-template.xml
resourceManager/config/resourceManager.yaml.template
topoBridge/config/topoBridge.yaml.template
wbui/config/wbui.yaml.template
and copy/edit them to non-template versions
3. run mvn from $OSCARS_DIST
mvn compile - just compiles
mvn -DskipTests install - compiles, installs does not run tests
mvn -Dmaven.test.failure.ignore=true install
- compiles, runs tests but continues after errors and installs
mvn install - compiles, run tests, installs
4. run $OSCARS_DIST/bin/stopServers.sh [dev|sdk|pro] ALL to start all the servers
the output from the servers will be piped to $OSCARS_DIST/*.out
5. run $OSCARS_DIST/bin/stopServers.sh ALL to kill all the servers.
start/stopServers can be used to start or stop individual servers with the params
authN, authZ, api, coord, topoBridge, rm, stubPCE, connPCE, dijPCE, vlanPCE, nullAgg, lookup,
stubPSS, dragonPSS, eomplsPSS, openflowPSS, PSS, notifyBridge, wnsbroker, wbui, ionui
Currently all the tests are passed except for coordinator which requires the
resource Manager and a PCE to be running.
7. Testing
The following command in api/bin can be called to create, modify, query,
list, setup and teardown reservations
Use the -h switch to see the required arguments.
The test programs log to their working directories, eg api/api.log.
Test programs are also available in authN, authZ, coordinator and
resourceManager
