The issue I am having is as stated on the title multimaterial export to IFCSurfacesSyle instead of IFCMaterialLayer, is that the expected behaviour? When I assign a material to a bim element, the material is exported as an IFCMaterial (as expected of the export). However this does not apply to the multimaterial objects.

Indeed currently there is no real multimaterial support in the BIM WB. That's definitely something we need to handle...

Ah ok thanks for the reply. Just needed to know if it was expected or if I was suppose to do something else to get it to export right.
