Feature Request: Add delay to sidebar expanding when in compact mode

My sidebar is always opening as I move my cursor around. It drives me nuts.

Add a delay when the the cusros stops in that area - maybe 500 ms (or make it cofiguarble) should do the tirck.

Definitely configurable, for me any sizable delay on showing the sidebar makes it feel unresponsive, and I don't think I am the only one
Ability to set the exact values for both the show and hide delays would be good though.
