\subsection*{Analog filters}
2 big ways to talk about analog filters: convert analog filter to
digital filter, or estimate their coefficients.
The anlogue filter is typically easier to talk about because it lives
in the s-plane for it's transfer function:

For a real filter, we can fit a rational polynomial to the power response,
and do what is called a \textit{Spectral Factorization} to find the
stable poles, and the unstable poles will be on the other side.\\
