ios buffer icon #276
Comments
I have the exact same problem on an iPhone 12 Pro running iOS 15.7. If I close the stream and play it again, the loading icon finally goes away. |
unfortunately I can't replicate this, it always works fine for me. This is probably due to some race condition with vlckit not reporting the correct status of the current stream. I've added a 7sec timer on the apple tv version, but I don't think I added this to the iOS version. I've just copy pasted the code from the apple tv version. This doesn't fix the problem, but it will hide that icon after 7 sec. |
Thanks! That will be super nice! |
don't forget to sign up for the testflight beta to test this, once I release a new updated build |
Good news, the latest version definitely fixed the issue for me. |
Big thanks for the update all working now and no more buffer icon |
Hello just a little problem when using TVheadend source build (4.3~1975) on a Raspberry Pi via the ios app on my iPhone 7 Plus when you start a stream and you see the buffer icon in the centre of the screen it never go's away, stream works fine plus don't have any problems with a Android tablet or FireCube also if i open stream in latest version of VLC it's fine on the iPhone
