Suggestion: In-game news announcements to make sure players have a way of knowing about recent events around Viscara and the wider Galaxy without having to look through the discord.

A placeable or NPC that can be put in select locations that read from a list of short news stories written by DMs.

-It will need a way for DMs to quickly and easily add, edit or remove stories from the list. Probably a UI similar to the 'DM Notes' one for PCs.

-The object should say the lines in order on repeat with a decent amount of time between those lines. The time should be easy to adjust in case it becomes too spammy.

-The object should be able to be placed and moved in the toolset easily in case fine-tuning of placement is necessary.

-News stories should decay after a week or so. If the DM wants to keep the same story up for longer than that they can just re-add it and even probably re-word it so it so the players are also aware that everything coming up is still relevant.

That would give it the basic functionality I'm thinking of. Though if we'd like something more advanced different news broadcasts could be set to appear on different planets, the DMs being able to tick a box in the UI (like permissions for ships) that say which planet gets the story. Each planet could then get their own news reporter with a specific personality and put different spins on the same Galactic events.
